Poster Competition – “Ideathon”, organised by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, VESIT, on 23rd March 2026 on the occasion of Technology Day.

This event aims to encourage innovative thinking and creative expression on pressing global challenges. The theme for the competition is the following:

“Natural Gas Crisis in Times of War: Challenges and Solutions"

Participants are required to design and present posters that highlight the causes, impacts, and possible technological or sustainable solutions to the current energy crisis influenced by global tensions and wars.

The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at VESIT organized a workshop on “Documentation using LaTeX” under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The session was delivered by Dr. Chandansingh Rawat, H.O.D., EXTC, who introduced participants to professional document preparation using LaTeX for academic and technical writing. The workshop was held on 16th March 2026 at 1:30 PM onwards in B42.

Our college has an active Training & Placement Cell (TPC) which consistently works towards providing placement opportunities for students across all branches. The primary objective of TPC is to guide students in identifying suitable career paths and to prepare them for the highly competitive job market. The cell undertakes various initiatives and other preparatory activities that support students during placement processes.
It has been observed that many students struggle to clear the aptitude test, which often becomes a major hurdle in advancing to further rounds of campus recruitment. Moreover, aptitude test patterns keep evolving with time, demanding continuous practice and updated strategies. Since many of you are already appearing for placement drives, it is the right time to strengthen your aptitude skills not only for the placements but also for the other competitive exams and civil services.
To support you all in this regard, the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication, in association with the Training and Placement Cell, is organising an Offline Aptitude Training Course (ATC). This training will focus on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and verbal ability, with special emphasis on quantitative topics. The core purpose of this course is to help you analyse problems effectively and solve them faster using smart techniques, shortcuts and formulas.

The Training & Placement Cell (TPC) is pleased to announce the next session of the Campus to Corporate (C2C) series for Third Year students under the Employability Skills Development Program.

Prototyping with FPGA organised by Tinkerer's Lab, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication

Department of Electronics & Telecommunication VESIT organized AICTE – ISTE approved one week self financing Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Machine Learning & Deep Learning” from 30th December, 2019 to 4th January, 2020.

The objective of the STTP was to introduce fundamentals of data mining, machine learning and deep learning with real-time applications. It was a very useful platform for faculty and researchers to update their knowledge. This STTP also focused on exploring various research opportunities and challenges in the field of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision and its applications.

This Training comprised of lectures and hands-on training by Edux Labs on Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques for the analysis, design and development of methods for the classification of patterns, objects, signals and processes. Total 48 candidates from different institute participated in the same.
