Overview
LabVIEW Academy was founded in Jan 2014 in VESIT-Instrumentation Dept in collaboration with National Instruments (USA). Three faculty members from instrumentation dept. - Mrs. Kanchan Chavan, Mr. Kader Shaikh, Mrs. Nilima Warke - have obtained Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from National Instruments.
Under NI LabVIEW Academy, Instrumentation Dept has been conducting workshops on “LabVIEW Core 1 and Core 2” since Jan 2014. 40 Hrs. workshop is scheduled on 6 full days. These workshops are conducted during one week prior to the start of the semester of every year. S.E./T.E./B.E. instrumentation students have attended this workshop. Students from other engineering colleges who are working in industries, have attended this workshop to enhance their skillset. So far 73 students have successfully completed this workshop.

Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) is systems engineering software for applications that require test, measurement, and control with rapid access to hardware and data. Combined with a graphical programming syntax, LabVIEW reduces programming time. This course helps students to create logic and interactive front panel for the end user in their BE projects/SCCD mini projects etc. Moreover, LabVIEW is one of the powerful tool in Industrial Automation, Engineering, R&D where the practical applications include data acquisition, Measurement and control, Automated Manufacturing and many more.
