Inauguration of Indoor Sphurti was done on 13th of August, 2018. All the staff in-charges, Mr. Hiru Wadhwani sir, Dean of our college, Mr. Sabnis sir, HOD of Humanities and Sciences department Mr. Vivek Umrikar sir, VESIT Sports in-charge Mr. Yogesh Pandit Sir, Mr. Mahesh Singh, Mrs. Kajal Jewani Madam, Mrs. Maheshwari Madam, and secretaries of other councils of VESIT werepresent during the auspicious moment of inauguration.  

For each event, dedicated members were allotted from the council, for each event, at least one Senior council member was allotted to guide the event in a proper way.
The council successfully concluded "Indoor Sphurti - 2018" on 6th October 2018.

ACHIEVEMENTS IN INTER COLLEGIATE EVENTS:

1. VESIT Badminton team reached pre-quarter finals in a draw of 256 teams in Mumbai University matches. That is, VESIT Badminton team is in TOP 16 in University Rankings.
2. Rahul Rai (MCA2A) and Nameira Shaikh (D6B) participated in Athletic events organized by Mumbai University. Nameira Shaikh secured a remarkable 3rd rank in semifinals of 100 meters sprint event.
3. VESIT Table Tennisteam reached 5th round in Mumbai University matches.
4. VESIT Football team participated in Mumbai University tournament as well as in Reliance tournament 2018.
5. VESIT cricket team is set to participate in the Mumbai University tournament which is to be held later in October 2018.
