eYantra 2019-20

eYantra conducts two main competition every year . eYRC ( eYantra Robotics Competition) and eYIC (eYantra Ideas Competition)

eYRC is competition of robots where students need to program various robots to accomplish a task. These robots can be of different type such as drone or wheed robots. For eYRC, selection test is held by eYantra. In the selection test, 15 teams were shortlisted to do different tracks. Among 15 teams from college one team ranked 14 in their track at National level.

Abhijeet Kale, Samruddha Kalke, Raj Talashilkar, Sahil Amundkar These students are currently studying in second Year Electronics. eYantra Ideas Competition is a national level competition, initiated by IIT Bombay. This year they had more than 400 entries from all over India.

Registration started on 4th September 2019. After submission of proposal results of stage 1 is declared on 20th November 2019. This year eYantra conducted online training through MOOC portal to enhance entrepreneurship skills of participating students. After two stages of scrutiny five teams from VESIT were selected for regional finals. The Regional finals of this competition will be conducted at six different centers in India.

eYantra 2018-19

eYantra Robotics Competition eYRC is where students build robots , program robots and perform a number of tasks provided in the competition. For this competition selection test is conducted by eYantra lab for the students from all over India. This year 4 teams were selected for the next round of competition.


eYantra Ideas Competition is a national level competition, initiated by IIT Bombay. This year they had more than 400 entries from all over India. 27 entries are submitted to college and after college level scrutiny best 4 teams were selected as college representatives. The Regionals finals of this competition was conducted at six different centers in India. In Mumbai, the eYantra regional finals was held on 21 February 2019 at KJSCE Vidya Vihar. Groups for regional finals were selected after two stages of scrutiny. There were two teams from VESIT which were placed in the top 36 groups. The groups from VESIT were :

eYantra Ideas Competition is a national level competition, initiated by IIT Bombay. This year they had more than 250 entries from all over India. 17 entries are submitted to college and after college level scrutiny best 4 teams were selected as college representatives. The Regionals finals of this competition was conducted at six different centers in India. In Mumbai, the eYantra regional finals was held in the month of February 2018 at KJSCE Vidya Vihar. Groups for regional finals were selected after two stages of scrutiny. There were three teams from VESIT which were placed in the top 24 groups.
