- Department of Humanities & Applied Sciences
Orienting students towards the requirements of engineering courses like developing visualization, analytical and logical thinking and helping students to cope up with the vast degree syllabus and the examination system, which is quite different from 12th board, is what we at H & A Department, VESIT, aim at.
For this, we have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members and lab staff.
Mr. Vivek Umrikar

Awakening the Scientist (ATS)
Overview
In order to kindle the enthusiasm and scientific spirit among the First-year students, ‘Awakening the Scientist’ is conducted every year at VESIT, an initiative by the Department of Humanities and Applied Sciences. The participating teams have to give a PowerPoint presentation on any Electronic / Non-Electronic gadget of their choice, where they have to explain the technical details and the science behind the working of that gadget, following which they will be quizzed in detail by various faculty members. This helps to deepen the thinking and concepts, as well as technical understanding of the product.
