VESIT D-link Academy Lab 406
V.E.S. Institute of Technology has signed an MOU with D-Link to establish a D-Link academy at VESIT started on 1st April 2015.
This academy trains students in batches and equips them for better placement opportunities. A specialized laboratory was set up in Lab no. 406 [EXTC Dept.] for wireless communication.
Under this academy, our faculty members were trained by D-Link to conduct this course for our students. Total 14 Engineering staff including 4 lab assistants and some PG students of Electronics and Telecommunication successfully completed this course.
The course contents covered wireless technology, radio frequency basics, antenna concepts, IEEE 802.11 essentials and amendments, WLAN security, AP management and unified wireless solutions.
