Did you know, you can make your own interactive customized maps using Javascript ? Have you ever thought of competing with Google maps API and Bing maps API by building your own interactive maps?
ISA-VESIT is back in e-Praxis'21 organised by VRC in association with VESIT IIC and IQAC with a fantastic opportunity to enter into the world of customized map development through its Leaflet.JS Workshop.
Leaflet is an open source JavaScript library used to build web mapping applications. It supports most mobile and desktop platforms. Leaflet can deal with maps with tiled base layers, panning, zooming, handles information to outline and mouse interactions. A leaflet is useful for seeing Anatomy of a Web Map for a prologue to the most widely recognized sorts of web maps.
In this workshop you will get an understanding of:
- Learning the fundamentals of maps
- Introduction to Leaflet.js
- Learning about various layers in maps
- Hands-on project experience
